The Holy Land with Momsy and Popsicle

So happy to share these wonderful places with my wonderful parents!
This is in the cave underneath the Church of Nativity. This is the traditional spot of where the manger was laid.
Mom and Dad after church at the Jerusalem Center. I was so excited to show them my home for the past few months.
In the entry of the Jerusalem center. I really did not want to say goodbye!
Mom and Dad in the church built by the crusaders on top of the ruins believed to be the upper room of the last supper.
Lunch stop at Lina's for some hummus. It was sooo good, we licked the bowl clean. That is some mint lemonade that we had too. So yummy.
Mom and Dad at the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus heals the lame man in John 5.

JC LDS

Ramadan Pancakes Action Shot. They are so yummy!

Shaban... Our favorite shopkeeper.

Jewish Cemetery in the Kidron Valley. They believe that people buried here will be resurrected first. They put rocks on graves instead of flowers or other things.

Great view of the city.

I just love this place.

Lockdown in the Center...

Due to Ramadan and excessive partying in East Jerusalem, we were not allowed to leave and take our normal walk into the city. This resulted in some interesting behavior and Maddie, being a smart little cookie, got us to make this:

Kinda really embarrassing.. but it was so fun to do and we got shots all around the center so we can always remember how cool it is.

More Petra Pics-

In order to convince my parents of the amazingness of Petra and in hopes of convincing them to go again with me, I am posting some more photos... LYTM momma and papa!

Yep, my eyes were closed in every photo taken of me today.

I forgot my sunglasses today, which was an unfortunate mistake because it was so sunny. So, sorry that my eyes are always closed. Our first stop was Masada.
Herod chose to build at Masada due to the beautiful views... it is pretty much just wilderness.
Camila and I making sassy poses in the Southern Palace in Masada.

Model poses... it is sometimes what we do so we aren't focusing on how hot it is outside. We have fun though.
Floating in the Dead Sea. It was the weirdest feeling ever!
All alone at lover's waterfall in Ein Gedi.
Qumran. If you look closely, there are caves in the background where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.

The Highlights of Galilee

Not only did I kiss it, I ate the whole thing (just not the face).
The Jordan River!

Read it out loud.

Church at the top of the Mt. Of Transfiguration

Synagogue at Korazim
"The Mona Lisa of Galilee"
We had different interpretations of how to pose as a mummy inside the crypt.
I spy a little hoodlum in tie-dye posing with the Baha'i temple in Haifa. Being there made me miss good ol' Wilmette.

Magic in Galilee

This post is one day that we explored the North of Galilee. We went to a castle, so I obviously had to wear my unicorn/rainbow/castle shirt. I am super busy, so I am not going to write captions, but it was a fun day!
